Articles by or brief biographies on certain dharma kings, rinpoches, and dharma teachers are included on this website who have taught in the West or have works that have been translated into English as well as a few rinpoches who are only well known in China or Tibet. Inclusion in this list does not imply any endorsement or comment on their status as authentic masters. Many of those listed have established or have been affiliated with temples or dharma centers in the U.S. Those masters with “*” in front of their names have recognized H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. A copy of the letter many of them sent to the International Buddhism Sangha Association or an article on them, a brief biography, and their photos are included in “Sixty Dharma Kings.”
