This part of the website is devoted to introducing the lineage of our school and the other major Buddhist schools, especially those that have a presence in the US. It includes a brief history of Buddhism and how it has come to the West. It also talks about the condition of Buddhism in the world today and the fact that we are living in the Dharma-Ending Age as Shakyamuni Buddha predicted. It is because of these dire conditions that a great holy one has incarnated to teach us the kinds of dharma that we need to become liberated even in these difficult times. There is also as section on some of the leading masters who have been on this earth in recent times and some who are still actively propagating the dharma.
There is also a short section on what it means to be a Buddhist and how one goes about becoming one.
