Since the publication and dissemination of Public Announcement No. 20160109 from the United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters (UIWBAH), some people who practice the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion repented themselves regarding the matter. Dharma Master Shi Long Hui also made serious self-examination and self-criticism. She said that the issue was her fault and that she had cleaned up and corrected the serious error of speaking carelessly made by the people who help her write documents. The dharma master’s upright attitude manifested a master’s position and belongs to the conduct of cultivation. However, another master wishfully tried to use this incident to cover up and hide his own impure karma. Because he knew that he is unable to pass the examination in the holy realm held by the UIWBAH at a high grade level, through his disciples, he raised a series of absurd and naive evil oppositions. His purpose is to indirectly express his opinions that it is a rightful act for an individual to take the money of offering for practicing the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion and that the accomplishment from cultivating Buddhism and the status of a holy person cannot be determined by the examination in the holy realm. He expressed that he does not recognize or agree with the examination in the holy realm.
It is the position of UIWBAH that this person’s statements and rhetoric are completely evil views and are not worthy of a response. Whether you recognize or agree with the examination in the holy realm or not is not important. The key is that there are better performers than you among the many who took the examination in the same session as you did. They broke through the destination zone and stepped into the land of safety. Why didn’t you break through the destination zone to walk into the land of safety? This fact showed that you do not possess the accomplishment of cultivation at that grade level. UIWBAH definitely will not permit such evil mentality and conduct of deceiving living beings to rampantly bring chaos to the world. Since you do not agree with the grade level determined by the examination in the holy realm and insist on faking a holy one to deceive people, your answers to the 100 problems in the written test should be seen by the public, to let everyone see whether your grade level determined by the examination in the holy realm agree with your performance in the written test or not. Then, people will all see that the results agree completely! That means your grade level earned from the examination in the holy realm is correct without deviation and does agree with your performance in the written test. Unfortunately, in that case, your score in the written test will be revealed. The score of between 20 to 30 points means you speak nonsense on over 70% of the sutras, vinayas, and shastras (commentaries) without any knowledge. Then, would there be any people to follow you and learn from you? If you truly repent yourself now, it is still not too late, since Buddhas and Bodhisattvas always hope living beings turn away from evil and become kind! You must abandon evil and return to the correct path and abandon your malicious acts and do good deeds. Only then can you stand on the ground to be a master.
