by the United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters:
All cultivators please note, in Public Announcement No. 20150114 issued by the United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters (UIWBAH) on September 30, 2015, there is a typographic error involving a title. The correct title for the level of Golden Button Grade 3 should be “Shang Zun.” (Note: this typo is in the Chinese version only and did not affect the English version, which correctly has “Shang Zun” as the title for Golden Button Grade 3.)
Separately, there is another thing to note. Some people asked about what “Dharma Gate Palace Feather” means. “Dharma Gate Palace Feather” is a holy dharma instrument used in Buddhism. It was carved from a thumb-sized piece of ancient white jade and then became a holy dharma instrument after practicing the dharma. The yidam of the dharma is Mahamayuri Vidya Raja. This holy dharma instrument is mainly used in selection and verification for entering a holy dharma gate. For instance, during the examination in the holy realm, it will be hung at the gate of the Eight Winds Battle Position. When the candidate comes to the gate, he/she will first submit the document of vow for taking the examination. At this time, if the yidam of “Dharma Gate Palace Feather” gives you the permission to take the examination, a white feather will be presented to you. On the other hand, if you do not possess the qualification to take the examination, a black feather will be presented to you or you may be simply ignored. Then, you will not be able to enter the field to take the examination and can only enter through a side door to observe the event.
“Dharma Gate Palace Feather” has multiple usages. All are for utilizations involving Buddha-dharma. It is a little similar to the dharma of receiving divine instruction by dropping divine pieces, with Manjushri Bodhisattva being the yidam. However, the difference is that “Dharma Gate Palace Feather” will manifest mighty and miraculous power on the spot. It is a holy dharma instrument used by Wang Zha Shang Zun.
