“Buddha-bestowed nectar” is not a matter of “Can so-and-so great rinpoche bestow nectar?” as you inquired. You are too ignorant and too pitiable. He is not at the level of Golden Button Grade 1 yet. Even a Shang Zun at the level of Golden Button Grade 3 or a Yu Zun at the level of Golden Button Grade 4 does not have the ability to cause “Buddha-bestowed nectar.” In short, Bodhisattvas and venerable ones are not able to bestow nectar. Other than Buddhas, only Bodhisattvas with universal enlightenment or wonderful enlightenment can bestow nectar because They are incarnations of ancient Buddhas and therefore possess the enlightenment capacity of a Buddha. Therefore, “Buddha-bestowed nectar” must be caused by a Buddha.
The nectar bestowed for Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra was bestowed from the empty sky by Buddhas invoked by Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra, to prove that the dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the true dharma of Tathagatas. The nectar was not bestowed as a result of any great holy virtuous one or great Bodhisattva practicing the dharma. This is because there was no Bodhisattva with universal enlightenment or wonderful enlightenment among the holy virtuous ones there. They do not possess the enlightenment capacity of a Buddha and therefore were not able to cause “Buddha-bestowed nectar.” A great Bodhisattva can at most bestow nectar through trees or flowers. However, it must be noted that Maitreya Bodhisattva is a Bodhisattva with universal enlightenment, is equivalent to a Buddha, and is able to cause Buddha-bestowed nectar. Therefore, in Tibetan Buddhism, He is the “Jamba Buddha” already known to everyone now.
There are several different kinds of nectar. If the nectar is Buddha-bestowed utmost precious nectar, the recipient will receive a true inner-tantric initiation at the time and will attain great accomplishment on the spot, realizing the state of nirvana with complete awareness.
If the initiation uses Buddha-bestowed great precious nectar, one must abide by the precepts in one’s cultivation and practice without violating the precepts in the Nectar Protection Longevity Mantra. One’s lifespan will be 125 years if longevity is beseeched. One will attain accomplishment and liberation in 12 years, realizing the state of nirvana with complete awareness.
If the nectar is Buddha-bestowed Bodhi nectar, one will attain accomplishment and liberation in 20 years, with a lifespan of 125 years. However, one must abide by the precepts in the Nectar Protection Longevity Mantra. If any violation is committed, one must sincerely repent and correct within 15 days. Otherwise the nectar will be lost without a trace. Only Buddha-bestowed Bodhi nectar can be used for sprinkling in an initiation, but the effect is only 5%. Moreover, a nectar pill has only 2% of the effect.
