Recently, the International Buddhism Sangha Association (IBSA) received a letter from a person who signed his (or her) name as “an extremely ashamed and incapable Buddhist disciple.” The letter mentioned that some individuals, in the name of helping living beings increase their good fortune, do Buddhist work, build the Ancient Buddha Temple and so on, advocate and induce people to participate in some sort of “national asset(s).” Their purpose was to commit fraud. This Buddhist disciple was concerned that this type of incident would provide the opportunity for people who have ulterior motives to pour dirty water on H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and thus cause H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to become polluted.
From reading this letter written by this “incapable Buddhist disciple” who does not act in accord with the teaching, we at IBSA feel that this person is very pitiable. Actually, such dirty views expressed in your letter and by people with similar opinions would be polluting His Holiness the Buddha. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III published and stated very clearly His view and attitude on this sort of matter long ago. Why don’t you read the public announcements and listen to the recorded dharma lessons? If you have read the public announcements and listened to the recorded dharma lessons, why can’t you know about His Holiness the Buddha? Could H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III become a bad person as you implied? Can the fact that swindlers pour dirty water on Him mean that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is in the same gang as these swindlers? People like you even dare suspect H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. This is extremely vicious! Since all Buddhist disciples are disciples of Sakyamuni Buddha, why don’t you suspect Sakyamuni Buddha?
As a matter of fact, all can read Expounding the Absolute Truth through the Heart Sutra and the dharma of 128 views expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Which article or any content therein does not belong to the true dharma of the Tathagata and correct views? You should open your eyes wide and see clearly, does the dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III that has been published below His Holiness the Buddha’s contrasting photos represent the speech and conduct of a bad person, or the speech and conduct of a supreme Buddha? You should also know clearly the fact that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s status of a Buddha has been confirmed by the dharma of Jin Gang Fa Man Ze Jue. On the contrary, you even regard His Holiness the Buddha as an ordinary person and are concerned that dirty water poured onto His Holiness the Buddha could sully Him.
You do not listen to the Buddha’s teaching and do not heed the teaching to do good deeds. The public announcements often teach you that you should benefit living beings and told you many times that there exist many swindlers and you should caution against deceptions and evil masters. However, you even have the opinion that bad acts committed by bad persons and evildoers can cause H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to be a bad person. Of course, you are not the only one having such opinions. Many of those who have such evil understanding and views do not even know what they are doing.
You should think carefully. If there can be any pollution, Sakyamuni Buddha would be the first one to be polluted because these swindlers are all waving Buddhist flags. If there are cultivators who do not act according to the teachings and rules of Buddhism and do not remove evil and pursue goodness, can that be a fault of Sakyamuni Buddha? And can that be a fault of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III? H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has already done as much as He can by reminding you in the recorded dharma lessons and informing you through the public announcements. You even protect the swindlers by speaking for them in a different way. That is in complicity with them. If you do not think you are in complicity with them, at least you have evil views. What do the speech and conduct of swindlers have to do with H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III? H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III always opposes evil masters, swindlers, and strange and paranormal phenomena. Otherwise, there would not have been so many recorded dharma lessons and public announcements that openly tell all people to guard against evil masters and swindlers.
The view of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has been expressed very clearly in the public announcements. You are all reminded that there exist plenty of swindlers in society and you should not become victims of deception and fraud. You are always told to prevent deceptions and expose swindlers to the public. However, all these have fallen on deaf ears. Just mentioning the term of national asset sounds like a scheme created by swindlers. Even if there is some “national asset” and even if that involves some international matter, that would be a matter to be handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. How could it be dealt with by you?
To those who do not uphold and act according to the principle of “abstaining from all that are evil and doing all that are good,” do not listen to the teachings by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and do not cultivate according to the teachings and dharmas of the World-Honored One, Sakyamuni Buddha, please note that retributions from causality are like a shadow following its subject! Doing good will result in good retribution!! Doing evil will have malicious retribution!!!
