Recently, we received many inquiries and reports regarding the qualifications and conditions for establishing dharma-listening centers and applying for the title of master of dharma-listening sessions. They mentioned that many people said that a husband and a wife or members of a family are not permitted to establish a dharma-listening center.
Here, the International Buddhism Sangha Association (IBSA) makes this public announcement to inform all temples and dharma-listening institutions, as well as rinpoches, acaryas, masters of dharma-listening centers and all kind Buddhist believers who listen to the dharma: the more dharma-listening centers cultivators establish, the better. Having more dharma-listening centers can introduce and facilitate more living beings to respectfully listen to the recorded dharma lessons expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Establishing and supporting a dharma-listening center by a husband and a wife or members of a family is very good. However, each dharma-listening center can only have one master of dharma-listening sessions.
This announcement is hereby made publicly to all.
