Hymn of 21 Verses

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha IIITo the magnificent Vajradhara, whose brilliance outshines the suns of a billion galaxies, and whose wisdom surpasses all holy and ordinary beings,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the bearer of the Holy Scepter, whose emanation graces this mundane world and blesses us with His sacred words and holy actions,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who has as disciples the Five Buddhas of the Five Directions and through whom we fortunate ones can gain realization of our true nature,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the One who teaches Buddhas and other Holy Beings the secret doctrines and delights the Universe,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the One who reincarnated as the great layman, the Honorable Vimalakirti, to teach Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as well as the close disciples of Shakyamuni Buddha,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who is praised by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as well as Dharma Kings and enlightened beings and unenlightened beings from the six realms,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who shows what is possible through a glimpse of a tiny bit of His complete mastery of the Five Vidyas,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Great Artist and Creator, who blesses us with works of such beauty and skill as to delight the senses and touch our hearts,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Great Healer, who by using the Galloping Horse Vajra Needle of Hayagriva eliminates our suffering and pain and who fixes all that is broken,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Master of Sound, who can compassionately caress with soft words and roar like a lion and whose songs, poetry, and couplets inspire countless followers,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Great Logician, who understands the workings of karma and knows our pasts and future,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Fully Realized One, who possesses the supernormal powers that can raise the dead and confer longevity and blessings,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who Communicates with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and brings us Their blessings and empowerments,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Great Compassionate and All-Generous One, who endlessly gives of Himself and His wealth so that we unworthy vessels may learn and practice the True Dharma,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who can answer any question and selflessly shares His own boundless merit to help us inferior ordinary beings find the Way,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the Fearless Leader, who gives us the shortest of lineages and the true Buddha-dharma for this dark era,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who expounds the Truth in such simplicity and demonstrates its practice in ordinary things,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the One who enables me to expiate my negative karma through His many empowerments and blessings,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who uses his own merit to raise the consciousness of my dear relatives so that they may go to the Buddha Lands,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To He who expounded the Dharma of Cultivation so that all types of beings in the six realms of existence can become enlightened,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

To the One who brings us the Holiest and Most Secret Kalachakra Dharma of the Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation,
I humbly bow and offer my devotion.

Even though these pitiful words are woefully inadequate in their praise and ability to express my admiration and gratitude to by priceless Buddha Master,
I humbly bow and offer them in loving devotion.
