Disciple Bhikkhu Gunaratana recently attended the Second Annual Buddha Puzaniya Ceremony at the Lokachantha Pagoda located at 63 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan, New Jersey. A “puzaniya” is an annual Burmese ceremony to commemorate the consecration of a pagoda or stupa. Construction on this pagoda complex was started in 2005 by the American Burmese Buddhist Association (ABBA) with the pagoda itself being completed early in 2007.
