Mahabodhi Temple in India–Site of first Vajra Throne
The bodhimanda of the Buddha’s enlightenment is located at Bodhgaya in North-eastern India in the state of Bihar. It is one of the four pilgrimage sites mentioned by Shakyamuni Buddha in the Mahaparinibbana Sutta.
