With regard to the matter that many Buddhist disciples are planning to come to the United States in June to celebrate the holy birthday of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III hereby specifically issues this announcement.
In June of last year, during the Dharma assembly held by the World Buddhism Association Headquarters at the Holy Heavenly Lake, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III already told everyone not to come here this year. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III says that He understands you and knows that some of you have difficulties sustaining a livelihood, and you cannot afford to pay for your trip to the United States. His Holiness the Buddha is very sad about this. Even though H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never accepts any offerings from anyone, His Holiness the Buddha is always concerned about whether or not you are able to lead a normal life. Therefore, H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has decided to welcome you here again when it is time for His Holiness the Buddha to transmit the Dharma to you.
The Office hereby solemnly informs everyone that during the holy birthday of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III this year, His Holiness the Buddha will certainly be away and will not be in California. Therefore, Buddhist disciples, if you have financial resources that you can spare, listen to the audio recorded Dharma discourses, release living beings from captivity, conduct charitable works to help the needy, and carry out other good deeds and activities at your locality to help the public and benefit living beings. Throughout day and night, abstain from anything that is evil and do all that is good. Then, you will certainly be able to learn superior, great Dharmas in the future. These are the best actions you can carry out to celebrate the holy birthday of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.
