Is the Dharma of Empowerment by Namo Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva practiced by Wangqiu Rinpoche and Dharma Master Zhi Zhuang from the lineage of true Buddha-dharma?
Reply: From the verifications conducted, Wangqiu Rinpoche does not have the lineage of true Buddha-dharma. The dharma he practiced is the empowerment dharma of a false Guan Yin Bodhisattva manifested by a demonic evil one. The Dharma of Empowerment by Namo Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva practiced by Dharma Master Zhi Zhuang possesses the lineage of true Buddha-dharma. If you know anyone else who claims that he can practice the Dharma of Empowerment by Namo Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva or who has already practiced this dharma for his followers, you should immediately write to our World Buddhism Association Headquarters (WBAH) to inquire. WBAH’s Inquiry Center will reply to all inquiries! This is to immediately prevent and stop evil masters from falsely using practicing the Dharma of Empowerment by Namo Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva to raise money and commit fraud to people in the world. For benefiting the great masses, all inquiries will definitely be replied. To protect inquirers, WBAH will not publish their names and will not reveal their identities privately either.
Some people claim that when he came to the United States, he stayed at the residence of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. This is telling a lie to deceive you!!! The outer court outside the home of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the housing of a Buddhist organization and does not include the inner court where H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III resides. The outer court is not related to the residence of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and has its own right. The outer court as the housing of a Buddhist organization had some rinpoches, dharma masters, and laypersons who may have correct views or incorrect views staying there. Such is just a very ordinary or trivial matter. However, the place is not in the inner court where His Holiness the Buddha resides.
The inner court simply does not permit any unqualified dharma master, dharma king, or rinpoche to lodge!!! To go in, one must go through the guarding personnel and must be approved! Other than Ru Zun(s), Jiao Zun(s), Shang Zun(s), Yu Zun(s), and the guarding personnel, there has never been any virtuous person at the level of blue button(s) lodging there, not even once!!!
Remember, you must not believe in deceptions. Regardless of what title one has such as rinpoche, dharma king, or great dharma master, it is just a non-definitive status. The only indicator to determine what is true and what is false is one’s grade level because the grade level is the result one got from the examination by one’s actual knowledge, learning, and realization and cannot be forged. Without the realization to enter the rank of holy ones, one will not reach a level of golden button(s)!!! Without the corresponding ability, one will not attain a certain grade level from the examination. The person you inquired about only earned a score of more than 10 but less than 20 points from the test on sutras, vinayas, and shastras and is a person who not only has undeserved fame but is actually a novice of Buddhism.
Regarding the claim that someone has realized the five vidyas and is called a Vajra dharma king. That is truly a naive joke. Any holy virtuous one whose realization has not reached the level of three golden buttons yet does not have even a little to do with the five vidyas, without even one exception in this world!!! You should understand that the five vidyas are five big categories and are not the level of one vidya. One absolutely cannot take one category to falsely claim the height of the five vidyas.
Let’s look at an example in the vidya of craftsmanship. Students in art schools can all apply the technique of coloring to imitate a thangka, face painting, or butter flower. This belongs to the crafts and arts of a craftsman and is not the vidya of craftsmanship. To say the vidya of craftsmanship one must have abilities of really creating various kinds of crafts, science and technology, construction, painting, landscape, sculpture, and so on; must have actual accomplishments for people to learn and study from; and is publicly known to have surpassed experts in these fields. Otherwise this person has not entered the realm of the vidya of craftsmanship yet. Even the abilities of surpassing professional standards in the above-mentioned multiple fields can only pertain to proving one vidya, the vidya of craftsmanship. To say that one possesses the five vidyas, one must surpass the level of experts in the field in everything within the five big categories.
Even a holy virtuous one at the grade level of one golden button will not be able to hold a “direct inner-tantric initiation.” Anyone at the level of blue button(s) is tens of thousands of miles away from that. The reason is that they have not realized the inner-tantric state. To realize the inner-tantric state is more difficult than climbing to the sky. A male practitioner has to at least present the “Three Vajra Phurbas” to establish an inner-tantric state. A female practitioner at least has to be able to “call to ring the dharma bowl.” Without internally realized cultivated power, where can an inner-tantric state come from? Of course, the ability to present a petition to a Bodhisattva publicly is the inner vidya possessed by great holy virtuous ones and tremendously great holy virtuous ones.
The rinpoche with undeserved fame whom you mentioned not only does not have the physical strength to lift the “Earth Phurba” away from the ground, he does not have even one percent of the ability to present the “Dharma Phurba.” Looking at the dharma kings, rinpoches, and eminent monastics of the current time in the world, there are no less than 1,000 who are above this person. There is not even one among these eminent monastics and great virtuous ones who can present the “Dharma Phurba.” This person cannot even be listed in their rank, not to mention that he is not able to present the basic “Earth Phurba” and “Heaven Phurba.” He has not realized one-thousandth of the inner vidya yet.
It can basically be stated definitively that one who is at the level of blue button(s) does not understand from reading the vidya of causality, much less possibly can speak of any proficiency. How can such a person have any flavor of the vidya of causality? One who is not proficient in the logical relationships of the myriad phenomena of the sentient world and the material world including doctrines and treatises, debating, poetry, singing and songs, music, literal theories, and so on definitely has no realization in the vidya of causality or the sound vidya. The vidya of medicine involves all kinds of situations in both the sentient world and the material world and entails healing illnesses and repairing or restoring what is damaged or destroyed.
Without surpassing the level of experts in the specialty, no vidya can be claimed. Vidya refers to surpassing the height of the profession. Non-vidya (avidya) means an ordinary level. Additionally, one who lacks only one category cannot speak of the five vidyas. Even many great patriarchs in history were untruly inflated or elevated with the description of possessing completely the five vidyas. Actually none of them possessed the five vidyas. That is why there was no actual accomplishment widely known to the world. Furthermore, the person you mentioned has nothing to do with even one vidya and can only brag himself with lies to cheat people. Even the words of “five vidyas” were put on top of him. That is truly shameless in deceiving people in the world.
As to the situation regarding someone who commits fraud everywhere to pull people who are already listening to the dharma from other places, this master is doing evil deeds and is not a master with virtue. The act is filthy and dirty. A master who is upright and brightly open relies on his own ethics and virtue to transform and develop cultivators, widely benefit the public, and proselytize new people who have not started to learn Buddha-dharma yet. It is not to dig or mine people who are already listening to the dharma to learn. As to the people who are already learning, if you have to virtue to attract them, they will follow you. Only that can be the conduct of a fine master. Buddhists who are already listening to the dharma have their own right to choose on their own fine masters and temples in the world to study. No master has the authority to control others. Telling one’s own disciples to go to and lobby, pull, and deceive those who already have places to listen to the dharma and learn is the act of an evil person without virtue or a master who does not know Buddha-dharma.
The reason is very simple, because they are all listening to the recorded dharma discourses of His Holiness the Buddha. As any master, you can only establish and operate dharma-listening centers, to let the public learn from the recorded dharma discourses. Everything has to be based on loving compassion and kind intention and you absolutely should not pull people to form your own faction or gang. Cultivators do not come to learn from you, since you have no quality or character that is worthy of their learning. They are learning from Buddha to cultivate themselves. You don’t agree? Then, a question can be asked to such a master today: What is the biggest demon to Buddhist disciples? Which of you who are masters can answer such a simple question?
How can one who does not understand the doctrine of the dharma teach and speak recklessly? To distinguish a master, people only need to look at one’s grade level indicated on the robe to determine a master’s status or accomplishment! If not a great holy virtuous one, one has no qualification to give discourses. Why would a novice pull people who are already listening to the dharma from other places and give them misguidance that lacks any proficiency to the teachings and the dharma? The announcements have reminded people over and over again that one who is not a great holy virtuous one has no qualification to give discourses on the teachings and the dharma. The reason is very simple because one’s lack of understanding in the teachings of the sutras will cause one to erroneously explain what is correct.
Why would a novice like to lead and guide recklessly those who are already listening to the recorded dharma discourses and receiving teachings from true Buddha-dharma? Do you want to cause dark karma to them? Which announcement has ever pointed out that you can dig people who are already listening to the dharma from other places? You know very clearly what your score is in the test on the basics of the sutras. Since you fake a holy one, can you submit an application to WBAH for making your score public? Then people can all see very clearly what level you are at. Since you dare not ask for making your score public, this fact alone shows whether you are genuine or false for what you declare yourself to be. To those of you who fabricate lies before cultivators to brag and inflate yourself, why don’t you show your cultivated accomplishment to achieve a level of golden button(s) from the examination? We must say that this is because you are not a holy one and have no real holy capacity to pass the examination at a level of golden button(s).
WBAH once again advise you to truly cultivate yourself through learning from Buddha, be mercifully compassionate, peaceful, and kind, benefit the great masses, and lead people to listen to the recorded dharma discourses expounded by His Holiness the Buddha. Do not form factions and gangs, stir up discord, or recklessly speak evil views to mislead people and harm others.
