The World Buddhism Association Headquarters (WBAH) searched for a long time in various countries and finally chose the best site with elegant marvelous treasure, which is located below the Holy Heavenly Lake. Underground is a deposit of a massive treasury of pure crystal. It is auspicious and magnificent, possessing extraordinarily great holy empowerment. The site also has one of only two north-south underground rivers in the world. Its flow is about that of the Yangtze River. This treasure place is the utmost one among holy sites. WBAH has decided to build the Ancient Buddha Temple at the center of this crystal deposit. The site has been approved through legislation by the local council as a religious site. We have already decided to build the Ancient Buddha Temple as the world’s first-place and highest holy Buddhist hall. We hope that people of all walks and Buddhist cultivators will make a strong effort to donate to building the Ancient Buddha Temple.
On the day of laying the foundation for the Ancient Buddha Temple, a dharma assembly will be held publicly, to prove that the Ancient Buddha Temple is truly a holy place of Buddhism and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions will all agree that the Ancient Buddha Temple is the first-place great temple of the true dharma of the Tathagata of Buddhism. At that time, the dharma of presenting a petition to a Bodhisattva will be conducted in public to let all see. Those who sincerely make their best effort to donate toward building the Ancient Buddha Temple can be present to observe on that day and see with their own eyes.
After the construction of the Ancient Buddha Temple has been completed, on the day of the grand ceremony of consecration for broadly propagating the dharma, Buddhas will be invited to bestow nectar directly into the dharma bowl from the sky without touching the ground, as a supreme empowerment to those who possess merit and as an evidence for the forever presence of true Buddha-dharma and the auspicious indication of saving countless living beings during tens of thousands of years with the broad and magnificent propagation of true Buddha-dharma. We at the WBAH will fulfill our proclamation with actions and make our vow become true.
The tremendous holy virtuous one upholding and executing true Buddha-dharma at the Ancient Buddha Temple is not comparable to any eminent monastic or great virtuous one of the current time. Furthermore, it has been decided that holy virtuous ones at the levels of Golden Button Grade 3 and/or Golden Button Grade 2 will be invited to serve as the temple’s abbot and prior (superintendent) after the Ancient Buddha Temple has been built and in operation. Those who make their best effort to donate toward building the Ancient Buddha Temple will gain absolutely pure merit without the slightest evil view or dark karma and can receive a true inner-tantric initiation or even an initiation with the seed of holy cause of state practice. Those who have not established the merit of doing Buddhist work and are not pious enough do not possess the qualification to receive an inner-tantric initiation.

Additionally, WBAH once again states publicly today: The leading officers of WBAH, including the chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary general, and deputy secretary general, have never received any salary since the establishment of WBAH and also have never received any reimbursement of travel expenses. That is to say, they always spent their own money and never used even a cent from WBAH. The money that you all donated has always been spent entirely on the affairs of true Buddha-dharma and true Buddhist teachings. You all can take it easy that all the money you donated is completely used on planting and growing your good fortune and virtue, so that you can learn true Buddha-dharma and great dharmas and attain accomplishment and liberation. WBAH does not have the slightest selfish mind or impure thought.
We guarantee that the highest grand hall in the world built by WBAH, the Ancient Buddha Temple, generates permanent merit. That holy temple will be led by a tremendous holy virtuous one or great holy virtuous ones with a one-hundred-percent certainty. What is propagated and advocated by the temple will absolutely be the true dharma of the Tathagata that upholds the principle of benefiting living beings with great compassion and leading to perfect good fortune and wisdom, liberation, and accomplishment. If you sincerely make your best effort to donate toward building the Ancient Buddha Temple, you will be a person who has truly established great merit!
