[Article as it appeared in all three major Hong Kong Newspapers] On August 1, 2009 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the International Buddhism Sangha Association administered “The Second Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Qualification Examination.” The next day that Association conducted a ceremony conferring the title “Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions” upon all those who passed the exam. One thousand Buddhists from temples, centers, institutes, and other Buddhist organizations all over the world were presented with certificates qualifying them as Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions. They were also presented with the robes of a Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions. Fifty Buddhists received certificates qualifying them as Acaryas and also received the robes of an Acarya. In their own particular organization, those Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions are now qualified to lead Buddhists in listening to recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, to lead living beings to correctly learn the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha, and to lead living beings onto the path of happiness where good fortune and wisdom increase and liberation is attained.
Representatives from more than 1,000 temples, associations, centers, and other Buddhist organizations located in countries and regions such as the United States, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand earnestly answer exam questions. They took the exam in order to enable their particular organization to receive and learn from the recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.
The Second Ceremony to Confer the Title of Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions took place in a very solemn and dignified atmosphere. Dharma drums and long Tibetan trumpets resounded in the huge hall where eminent monastics and greatly virtuous people gathered. Among the eminent monastics and greatly virtuous people who participated in the supervision of the exam and the conferment of title ceremony were H.H. Dharma King Gar Tongstan IV, who has already realized the Vajra Substitute Body Meditation accomplishment state; Dharma Master Long Hui Lajian Rinpoche, the chairperson of the International Buddhism Sangha Association; Venerable Xiangge Qiongwa IV Duozha Xinxiong Rinpoche, the dean of the Los Angeles Buddhist Academy; Venerable Dorje Jueba II Longzhou Rinpoche, the founder of the True Budddha-Dharma Center; Dharma Teacher Jue Hui, abbess of the Sanger Mission and Bodhi Monastery; Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche, president of the Xuanfa Institute; Respected Bodi Wentu Rinpoche, an elder of Hua Zang Si; and Dharma Teacher Ruo Hui, an elder and vice-abbess at Hua Zang Si.

She told them that they attained their new status on behalf of the temple, association, center, or other Buddhist organization that they lead. She reminded them that the purposes of their new status are to benefit living beings, lead people in listening to and practicing the recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, and lead people in learning the teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha. She also told them that they must not have any conceit based on their new status, that they must care for and be benevolent towards others, and that they must avoid sectarianism.

On behalf of all the rinpoches, dharma masters, and dharma teachers in attendance, H.H. Dharma King Gar Tongstan IV congratulated the Acaryas and Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions who passed the exam. H.H. Dharma King Gar Tongstan IV received from H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III two “Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation” initiations and dharma transmissions called the Xian Liang Great Perfection Dharma and the Vajra Substitute Body Meditation. He became accomplished and liberated through those two initiations and dharma transmissions. In his speech, the Dharma King encouraged all those who passed the exam to lead Buddhists to listen to recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. He said that Buddhists should listen to those discourses devoutly and in accordance with the dharma. The Dharma King also encouraged all those who passed the exam to abide by the teachings of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, be humble and maintain a holy and pure moral character when interacting with other Buddhists, and be a model for others to emulate in the areas of learning Buddhism and self-cultivation. In his speech, H.H. Dharma King Gar Tongstan emphasized, “Do not forget that we are a true religion. As Buddhists, we must be greatly compassionate, benevolent, and moral. We must selflessly benefit others. We must stay away from sectarianism and conflicts based on attachment to self. We must create a world that is peaceful and happy. We must be patient under insult and adversity. We must realize the path and attain the fruit. Those are the things that true Buddhists do.”
H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III did not designate his own status or identity. The status or identity of His Holiness was determined in accordance with the dharma. His Holiness has received from dharma kings, rinpoches, eminent monastics, and people of great virtue more recognitions, corroborations, and congratulations regarding status or identity than anyone else in the world. Various Buddhist sects and major Buddhist organizations all over the world followed this Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Examination with great interest. From the time it was publicly revealed that several dozen eminent monastics and greatly virtuous ones within Buddhist circles had recognized and corroborated the identity of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, there has been a worldwide trend to study and learn the teachings and thoughts of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. People have concluded from their study and learning that the teachings and thoughts of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are orthodox Buddhist teachings and are consistent with the fundamental original teachings of Sakyamuni Buddha. People have also concluded that nobody throughout history to the present day has reached the high level of holy realization, wisdom, and accomplishment that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has reached. The treasure book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III contains some of the wisdom-based accomplishments of His Holiness in thirty different categories. Those accomplishments alone are unprecedented. Such accomplishments were possible because His Holiness is the true incarnation of Dorje Chang Buddha, the first Buddha in the entire universe.
People who have studied and learned the teachings and thoughts of His Holiness have universally concluded that in this world there are only two people on the level of a Buddha whose dharma leads to absolute liberation and happiness—Sakymuni Buddha and H.H.Dorje Chang Buddha III. The sutras of Sakyamuni Buddha have already been disseminated all over the globe. However, the supremely wonderful Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is quite rare and most valuable Buddha-dharma. It is an extreme honor to be able to listen to the recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III.
Leaders of temples, centers, associations, and other Buddhist organizations must pass the Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Qualification Examination in order to receive recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Once they receive those discourses, they and their organizations will have correct guidance on the Buddha-dharma. In April of this year, the International Buddhism Sangha Association administered the first Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Qualification Examination in San Francisco, U.S.A. Leaders of more than three hundred Buddhist organizations came to take the exam. Two hundred eighty of them passed the exam and were presented with Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions Certificates and Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions robes.
After that exam, the International Buddhism Sangha Association continually received requests from Buddhist organizations all over the world asking if they could receive recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III so that they could use those discourses as a spiritual guide and standard for their organizations. In order to prevent misunderstandings that might arise in the course of learning the thoughts expressed in those discourses, the International Buddhism Sangha Association decided to administer the second Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Qualification Examination. In a mere two-month period of time, leaders of more than one thousand temples, centers, associations, institutes, and other Buddhist organizations all over the world registered to take the exam. One after another of those leaders stated they were not taking the exam in order to obtain fame or high status. Rather, those leaders said they hoped that they and their particular organization would have the opportunity to better learn the teachings and thoughts of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Only those who have passed the exam to become Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions are guaranteed receipt of recorded discourses on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III after they respectfully requests those discourses. Those who have become Masters of Dharma-Listening Sessions will therefore be able to listen to His Holiness expound the dharma and will at the same time enable the members of their particular organization to listen to the best Buddha-dharma. Additionally, those who pass the Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions exam will receive a “Document to Receive a Holy Form of Inner-Tantric Initiation.” It is a wonderful opportunity to deeply explore, learn, and benefit from the teachings and thoughts of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. All of the examinees did their utmost to pass the exam and receive that document.
After the Master of Dharma-Listening Sessions Qualification Examination ended, the attendees listened to a precious discourse on the dharma spoken by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III entitled “Brief Explanation of Evil Views and Mistaken Views.” That discourse is an extremely important guide for the attainment of liberation. The examinees also respectfully requested and received the introduction to The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation, which is the highest Buddha-dharma. They also viewed two extremely rare videos showing a Highest Form of Bathing the Buddha Dharma Assembly, a test of vajra power, the practice of Tummo (inner-heat) Dharma, a White God of Wealth Inner-Tantric Initiation in the Holy Form, real healing miracles using the Five-Thunder True-Dharma Palm, and astonishing MRI test results resulting from the practice of the highest dharma within The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation. Those MRI test results showed that the crowns of the heads of three greatly virtuous and accomplished people were opened through the practice of the Vajra Substitute Body Meditation, and their consciousnesses left their bodies and returned. Those two videos opened the eyes of all of the examinees and revealed mysterious and true realization powers that have existed in Buddhism for over two thousand years!
