Two eggs, one yellow and one red form a perfect “dao.”

It was going to be an omlet, but it turned into something else. When Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche cracked two eggs in a bowl to make an omlet, the second one came out bright red. She had never seen such an egg. The two eggs merged to form a perfect “Yin” and “Yang”–the symbol for the dao or tao. The rinpoche’s quick thinking roommate told her to take a picture as such events were most auspicious and could be a sign of something very wonderful happening. Sure enough, that was the day that the rinpoche received the precious book¬†H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III,¬†that she had been waiting for. What could be more auspicious?
