Two eggs, one yellow and one red form a perfect “dao.”

It was going to be an omlet, but it turned into something else. When Zhaxi Zhuoma Rinpoche cracked two eggs in a bowl to make an omlet, the second one came out bright red. She had never seen such an egg. The two eggs merged to form a perfect “Yin” and “Yang”–the symbol for the dao or tao. The rinpoche’s quick thinking roommate told her to take a picture as such events were most auspicious and could be a sign of something very wonderful happening. Sure enough, that was the day that the rinpoche received the precious book H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, that she had been waiting for. What could be more auspicious?
