Zhou Yinnan introduced two-hundred of H.H. Master Wan Ko Yee’s paintings to the public in the art book, Collected Paintings by Master Wan Ko Yee. The book groups Master Wan Ko Yee’s paintings into three sections. The first shows his mastery of traditional Chinese painting techniques and subject material. The second demonstrates his very impressionistic or expressionistic style using splashed color and ink techniques. These paintings represent his skill in more abstract painting. The last section provides a glimpse of his “technical virtuosity, inexhaustible fantasy, comprehensive range, and individual voice as an artist.” What is so amazing about the works of this great artist is his ability to literally paint in any style. His works demonstrate his high degree of cultivation in the cosmology of life, philosophy, literature, and ethics combined with a thorough knowledge of art. This book has been republished under the same title and is currently available from International Arts Publishing and other sources. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III also contains a section on these paintings.
