Many people who have learned the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion are empowering living beings. Doing so should be an event of good karma to start with. However, some organizations used the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion to untruly boast, promote, and elevate their master leading the dharma practice.
As was stated in the Public Announcement No. 20160108 from United International World Buddhism Association Headquarters (UIWBAH), “As long as a cultivator is at the grade level of Blue Button Grade 2 or Blue Button Grade 3 or is a pious Buddhist, this person is qualified to learn the cultivated dharmas you mentioned if he or she has the opportunity to meet a master possessing any of those dharmas (including the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion). …… The practice of each of those dharma has three stages. The ability of empowering people and manifesting illusory states and illusory movement to them is at the generation stage. One can empower people and manifest the states on the same day of learning the dharma!!!” The public announcement stated the fact explicitly and clearly. However, those who have a selfish intention even untruly exaggerated the practice of the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion as “the great dharma master leading the dharma practice applied truly cultivated and realized virtue, realization, and state to invite and receive Namo Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva to arrive at the mandala……”
Such untrue boasting seriously violates the truth of Buddha-dharma and seriously, maliciously, and openly goes against UIWBAH’s public announcement and the definitive conclusion announced by Wang Zha Shang Zun. The Shang Zun said, “With such absurd and appalling behaviors, these people should be removed from all positions they serve with the action announced publicly. However, considering their merit accumulated through cultivating for many years, no action will be taken for now. Even so, those who deliberately forged the false phenomena and created the untrue and illusory cover must seclude themselves at home to contemplate their faults, repent immediately, and completely change their face and heart to be clean!”
The more malicious fault of those people is that they violated the dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said when expounding the dharma,
“The dharma that is the easiest to practice is the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion. It does not require any other cultivated accomplishment or holy realization and you only need to possess the power of the lineage. You can be successful on the same day of practicing it. The next day, you can gather people to empower them and lead them into the state…… The most important aspect of the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion is to benefit and help the great masses selflessly. Additionally, the power of the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion is accumulated through Kuan Yin Bodhisattva’s mind of great compassion. Therefore, at the end of each dharma assembly, you must lead the attending congregation to release living beings in captivity to safety as the ending practice. If the person leading the dharma practice only pray for the empowerment from Kuan Yin Bodhisattva, but does not take an action to truly release living beings in captivity and privately takes the money of offering out of greed, this master leading the dharma practice is definitely a heretic using the name of Buddhism or a demonic person. Furthermore, in this case, those who attended the dharma assembly to receive empowerment not only will not get real benefits, but also will attract sin and negative karma to themselves. Making offerings is what attendees of the dharma assembly should do. However, for their safety, they had better help the people running the dharma assembly to make sure that all collected money of offering is spent on the main program of the dharma assembly, which is the ending practice of releasing living beings in captivity, and the related expenses and costs of the dharma assembly such as renting the site to hold the dharma assembly, paying for the automobile usage, travel, meal, and boarding of the master in charge of the mandala and his/her entourage, and so on. Otherwise, the sin and negative karma incurred are not limited to the retribution to the master in charge of the mandala. Attendees of the dharma assembly will share very big sins and negative karma. Of course, I only talked about the issues of the principle related to the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion, without getting into the rules and stipulations of other dharmas.”
Therefore, the most important part of a dharma assembly of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion is the ending practice of releasing living beings in captivity. Without this part, the dharma assembly will violate Kuan Shi Yin Bodhisattva’s fundamental doctrine of great compassion and will be an act that seriously violates the precepts! Not only will no good karma or merit be generated afterwards, but sin and negative karma will also increase.
Separately, UIWBAH issued a notice more than three months ago, asking you all to submit reports about individuals’ gains attained from listening to and learning the Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and self-cultivation and applying the learning to various aspects of their daily life such as how they became kind and compassionate, caring and loving others, serving the great masses, taking part in disaster relief and assisting the needy, protecting the dharma and exposing demons, opposing swindlers and evil ones, and so on, as well as the status of your organization in holding events and activities. However, even though this message has been sent to you all, some still do not take action, UIWBAH will issue public announcements to publish the list of names of these masters to the public, since your so-called cultivation and learning Buddhism are simply not cultivation and practice carried out in concrete actions and, rather, are just bluffing and fooling people without the real deeds of doing good things for the masses.
