Important Replies from Holy Virtuous Ones and Eminent Monastics and Brief Synopses

The 35 replies from holy virtuous ones regarding the questions raised have all been published. However, there are still people who did not understand from reading them. Some of them even have very serious misunderstandings. They perceived the stipulations of the dharma that are indispensable and inseparable from the true dharma of the Tathagata as supernatural powers. Some even said, “What I want to learn is Buddha-dharma. I am not interested in supernatural powers. Even H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III told you holy virtuous ones that He is not interested in supernatural powers. What His Holiness the Buddha emphasizes is carrying out kindness and removing the evils to cultivate for enlightenment and benefit living beings!”

We can only tell you that you have mixed up the stipulations of the dharma and supernatural powers from the beginning. You said that you are not interested in supernatural powers but you actually regard the stipulations of the dharma as supernatural powers. You have already fallen into ignorance and do not understand great dharmas of Buddhism at all, which must rely on the stipulations of the dharma to distinguish what is true and what is false. You do not know that absolutely no error is permitted in inner-tantric initiations regarding the stipulations of the dharma. You do not know that the stipulations of the dharma are indispensable, otherwise the practice will fall into heretic ways. You know even less about H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s state of enlightenment as a Buddha. It is not true that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was not interested in the stipulations of true Buddha-dharma that we mentioned. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said clearly, “I am not saying that your emphasis on the stipulation of the dharma is not good. Rather, my concern is that there aren’t so many great holy virtuous ones to transmit the truly great Buddha-dharma.” H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III also said, “In today’s world, there are very many people who are learning Buddhism. Where can so many holy masters be found? How many masters who are great holy ones are there to teach them?” Additionally, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said, “The states and phenomena of manifesting holiness expounded by Sakyamuni Buddha in the sutras are more than what you said and are more miraculous, powerful, subtle, and marvelous than what you said. I am a Buddhist. I do not have the slightest doubt about what the Buddha said. I completely respect the World-Honored One.”

You are so silly to the extent of not even understanding clearly who H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is. In the general sense, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the Buddha of entire Buddhism. Speaking for the earthly world, His Holiness the Buddha is the Pope of entire Buddhism. Can His Holiness the Buddha be partial to any sect or school or only emphasize any particular dharma method? H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III must equally respond to living beings according to the 84,000 dharma methods of Sakyamuni Buddha!

Since you have not understood the basic principles yet, we seriously inform you here that the 35 answers have nothing to do with supernatural powers. The stipulations of the dharma and so on mentioned therein are not supernatural powers. Rather, the stipulations of the dharma are mandated by the high-level great dharmas of true Buddha-dharma. No supernatural power of any form can satisfy the stipulations specifically required by true Buddha-dharma regardless of how amazing such power may be. The stipulations of the dharma are mandated to put into practice for distinguishing and evaluating the holy realization representing a master’s qualification. Regardless of whether you are interested or not, that is not up to you, since that is the standard for testing and proving whether a master is true or false and is the way to let people observe to get the answers on: Does this master truly know Buddha-dharma? Is this master truly in Buddhism or a charlatan in a cult? Does this person have internally cultivated power through practicing Buddha-dharma or have a weak and hollow body and have no Buddha-dharma? Is this master guiding people to learn true Buddha-dharma or deceiving and misleading people to learn false Buddha-dharma? Does this master enable people to quickly and expediently attain perfect good fortune and wisdom to become accomplished or defraud people to cause them to be unable to learn Buddha-dharma in the entire lifetime and to eventually end up with the tragic consequence of devolving into one of the three lower realms without the possibility of accomplishment and liberation?

Some evil demonic charlatan master(s) tried to deceive his (their) disciples by saying, “I am a great Bodhisattva, a Vajra master. I do not accept the stipulations of the dharma for inner-tantric initiations. Whatever stipulations have no effect to me at all. I can easily use one finger to break through the stipulation.” The evil master(s) who uttered such words is (are) truly crazy and insane!

As an analogy, this is similar to a situation of someone being able to lift 100 kilograms (220 pounds) easily by one hand. However, you do not admit the fact that this person has good physical strength and think that he is far interior to you. Then, you should demonstrate your good physical strength. Before your disciples, you lift a weight of more than 100 kilograms with one hand to prove that you surpassed him by a few ounces or so. Only then can you be in a position to deny his physical strength to say it is not as good as yours. Now, since you purposely or unintentionally pose as a great Bodhisattva, as a Bodhisattva you definitely possess broad and great supernatural powers and superior and strong dharma power. Then you go ahead to apply your dharma power of a great Bodhisattva to prove what you said against the two major stipulations of inner-tantric initiations. You will dare to perform publicly presenting the three Vajra phurbas of “Earth Phurba,” “Heaven Phurba,” and “Dharma Phurba” and presenting a petition to a Bodhisattva to let your followers see, to show that doing so is nothing special. If you can accomplish that, you have the right to deny or criticize the stipulations of the dharma. On the other hand, if you cannot or only make up excuses before your disciples and dare not try, you are just shown to be a false Bodhisattva and belong to evil persons with exhausted physical strength. You do not have any flavor of a holy one, are a weak, exhausted, and sick person without any cultivated power, and are absolutely a wandering swindler!!!

As a matter of fact, you are a false holy one. Anyone would know that you have no slightest possibility to comply with the stipulations of the dharma and that was why you put up an ugly and vicious face to slander the stipulations of true Buddha-dharma for the purpose of faking a holy one to deceive living beings. Then, why were you asked to be tested by presenting the three phurbas? This is because you pose yourself as a great Bodhisattva. People all know that a great Bodhisattva possesses unimaginably high and profound accomplishment of cultivation. Then, how can you possibly not even have the ability to present the three phurbas? According to the stipulations of the dharma, the weight of “Earth Phurba” should be 200 pounds for one whose age is around 60 with a body weight of about 170 pounds. You can’t even lift such a weight from the ground. There is no need to mention that you can’t lift the “Heaven Phurba” of 110 pounds with one hand above the shoulder and present it to the offering table. Still, you have not been asked to lift the “Dharma Phurba” that is more difficult by 100 times. Since you are unable to present the three phurbas, can you claim good health and physical strength instead of a weak, handicapped, and sick body of an ordinary being? To tell you the truth, your physique is weak and hollow even among ordinary persons. You are completely an ordinary person faking a holy one.

Of course, you will look for excuses to tell your disciples, “My hands, feet, waist, and thighs are all injured.” Okay, the “Dharma Phurba” will not injure any of those body parts and only needs to see internally cultivated power or Vajra force. You can do that plus manifesting an inner-tantric initiation. At a distance of 33 feet from the Vajra pill, you please let the monsoon-bean-sized and solid Vajra pill exhibit miraculous transformations. As to “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva,” that is more than 1000 times more difficult than presenting the three phurbas and is absolutely beyond imagination for swindlers and evil masters.

Dharma Master Shi Jian Hui formally made her vow before the Buddha statue in a big Buddha hall, “Now His Holiness the Buddha is present in the world. I have the good fortune to follow the Buddha and receive His teachings for 18 years. However, many people are located at far-away places and even in other countries. They know nothing about H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and thus have no respect in mind. I now make my vow. I would rather give up myself to be punished by the precepts and would not abandon my vow of wishing cultivators to learn true Buddha-dharma. From now on, regardless of at what level you are, as long as you have done ‘Presenting the three Vajra Phurbas,’ you can choose a big and wide grass land at any location for me to demonstrate the Dharma of Fine Horse Traveling in Sky by Stepping on Clouds. I will rise to and walk in the sky. You and no more than 100 disciples of yours and another 300 Buddhists of good faith whom I will select will be at the site to observe in person. So you can see what the genuine substance of the true dharma of the Tathagata is. I know very clearly that doing such manifestation on my own intention would violate Precept No. 7 of that yidam dharma and will affect my accomplishment. However, for the sake of living beings, this is exactly as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said, ‘If I do not enter the hell, who will?’ Actually, I already demonstrated my realization of accomplishment on two occasions. The first time was to deliver the dharma booklet in time. The second time was in response to the karmic cause from Dharma Master Long Hui. The next time will be the third. As long as you have done ‘Presenting the three Vajra Phurbas,’ you are already a great holy virtuous one and your accomplishment of practice is higher than mine. Thus, you will have the full right to watch me showing my accomplished practice and have the right to arrange your excellent disciples to watch. I made this vow to do this for living beings’ opportunities to acquire wisdom and generate good karma. I have made this vow and will truthfully do so. I do not have the slightest intention of praising myself or showing off. I have only one purpose. That is to let people who seek the true dharma see the true Buddha-dharma. As a result, they can completely carry out kindness, stay far away from the evil, truly practice according to The Xiaman Most Excellent Oceanic Mind Essence, love the country, people, and living beings, sincerely cultivate themselves, be good people and be on the right path, and plant the holy cause of enlightenment to attain true accomplishment.”

Remember, the replies from holy virtuous ones and eminent monastics do not talk about supernatural powers, do not show off supernatural powers, and have nothing to do with supernatural powers. Rather, the emphasis is on the stipulations of the dharma that must be applied in the true dharma of the Tathagata and inner-tantric initiations. The stipulations of the dharma are not supernatural powers. Supernatural powers cannot manipulate or control the ways mandated by the stipulations of the dharma. That is why although Arhats possess the six supernatural powers, yet regarding the stipulations of the dharma, they are only able to present the three phurbas and cannot accomplish “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva.” This is because the stipulations of the dharma belong to the system upheld and controlled by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. The three vidyas and six supernatural powers possessed by an Arhat have no effect to “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva” at all. The reason is that an Arhat does not possess the qualification to invite a great Bodhisattva to come to an inner-tantric mandala in person to accept the petition publicly.
