Brief Synopses of Answers Provided by Holy Virtuous Ones and Eminent Monastics to Questions Raised

By | April 20, 2018

Synopsis of Answer No. 1: Venerable Mo Zhi replies in person to the six questions addressed to him:

  1. He does not have the status of a great holy virtuous one.
  2. He has not realized the cultivated accomplishment at the level of Golden Button Grade 3 and he has not realized the status of a non-receding Bodhisattva yet.
  3. He is not able to confer inner-tantric initiations to disciples, but can perform a borrowed inner-tantric initiation.
  4. He does not accept disciples.
  5. It was him who demonstrated the cultivated power in the recorded video titled “Manifestation of Genuine Buddha-Dharma That Is Difficult to See Even in One Thousand Years.”
  6. On that day, there was a person with the title of rinpoche who feared the embarrassment of being injured by the burn and thus dared not enter the field.

Synopsis of Answer No. 2: To receive an inner-tantric initiation, one must pass two checks, neither of which can be skipped. Getting the agreement from the master conferring the initiation is just passing the first check. However, if you have doubt toward or speak falsely to the master conferring the initiation, that means you have committed offense to a fundamental precept. Then the yidam who is a Buddha or a Bodhisattva will not approve you at the second check to confer the initiation and transmit the dharma to you. Even if the initiation is performed as a formality, there will not be any beneficial effect at all.

Synopsis of Answer No. 3: The effect of an inner-tantric initiation is to invite a Buddha or a Bodhisattva to come to the mandala to accept the disciple!! The requirement is that one must be a person who has made real contribution with a wholehearted intention to the true undertaking carried out by the Buddha and has established great merit!!! Only such a disciple can meet the requirement to receive the initiation. If one utmost piously presents an offering to a tremendous holy virtuous one, one will receive a First-Class Initiation of Dharma Affinity with the Yidam and also receive utmost precious nectar to exterminate one’s hindrances. Within 12 hours, this disciple will see in person the Buddha or Bodhisattva in  space and learn a supreme great dharma to immediately transform from an ordinary being to a holy one. This answer also mentioned an example of true realization seen by many people. For details please see the full text of Answer No. 3.

Synopsis of Answer No. 4: This answer points out that the best cultivation and dharma practice in this world is the cultivation and dharma practice expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, such as the cultivation and dharma practice in the Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation. There have been very many eminent monastics and great virtuous ones who attained liberation through learning and practicing the Buddha-dharma of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. They are all known by their full names. No one else has taught so many accomplished persons. That is the guarantee for your accomplishment and liberation.

Synopsis of Answer No. 5: This answer expressed clearly that the view of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is that all sects and schools are equal and each has its own specialty. The key of learning from Buddha is to abstain from all evils, do all kinds of kindness, and continually cultivate oneself according to the teachings of Buddhism to establish the nature of great compassion and good karma. Only then can one learn a great Buddha-dharma and quickly and expediently attain accomplishment. Then, why do holy virtuous ones emphasize the stipulations of the dharma for inner-tantric initiations? To prevent cultivators from following evil masters and charlatans is one of the aspects. More importantly, only an inner-tantric initiation can enable the disciple to reach and communicate with the yidam who is a Buddha or a Bodhisattva on the spot. If the initiation is a State Practice Initiation of the Seed of Holy Cause, one will see Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the space right then and can enter the world of holy states at any time from then on.

Synopsis of Answer No. 6: Any lineage of the true dharma of the Tathagata will have traitors emerging. This is because the mission and principles of true Buddha-dharma are to benefit living beings, save living beings to become holy ones, and forbid deceiving people with evil intentions. That of course does not agree with the purpose of evil masters and charlatans through transmitting false Buddha-dharma to defraud for money and sexual favors. Since true Buddha-dharma blocks the way of charlatans to obtain money and sexual favors, they will of course oppose by all means. Therefore, to continue their way of committing fraud, they definitely will take the only choice of betraying.

Synopsis of Answer No. 7: An “initiation of state practice” and an “empowerment of state practice” seem to be similar from the phenomena such as crown-opening and the initial state of Xianliang Great Perfection but are completely different in nature. An initiation entails that the Buddha or Bodhisattva accepts the disciple in person, while an empowerment means that the Buddha or Bodhisattva just bestow the empowerment without accepting the disciple. Additionally, there are people who take the manifested appearance from receiving empowerment to fake receiving an initiation. Some who are even lower claim such scene as his/her own cultivated accomplishment or dharma power to deceive disciples. There are very many people of this kind, each of whom is an ordinary being plus being a charlatan. For specific information please inquire at the World Buddhism Association Headquarters (WBAH).

Synopsis of Answer No. 8: Some who are masters use distortion to falsely claim their experience of receiving an initiation or empowerment from a great holy master as his ability to confer an inner-tantric initiation for his disciples. Note: anyone who has received an inner-tantric initiation must have a Measuring Vajra Rope. Without this object of evidence, it may just be an inner-tantric empowerment or simply a deception. To find out what qualification a certain person possesses, please inquire at WBAH. No false claim can survive since the complete records exist.

Synopsis of Answer No. 9: What is “Presenting the Three Vajra Phurbas”? The three phurbas are: the “Earth Phurba” that requires a person whose age is around 60 and whose body weight is around 170 pounds to single-handedly present the Earth Phurba weighing 200 pounds; the “Heaven Phurba” that weighs 110 pounds; and the “Dharma Phurba” that is to be presented by one’s internally cultivated power. Both the “Heaven Phurba” and the “Earth Phurba” are for testing and verifying one’s physical strength and physical health. Take a person whose body weight is about 170 pounds for example to show the weight requirement of the “Earth Phurba.” If the person’s age is around 50, the weight of the “Earth Phurba” to be presented is 210 pounds. If the person’s age is around 40, the weight of the “Earth Phurba” to be presented is 220 pounds. If the person’s age is around 30, the weight of the “Earth Phurba” to be presented is 230 pounds. If the person’s age is around 20, the weight of the “Earth Phurba” to be presented is 240 pounds. If one’s body weight exceeds 170 pounds, for every 500 grams of body weight above that, 500 grams should be added to the weight requirement of the “Earth Phurba.” Regarding why “Presenting the Three Vajra Phurbas” and “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva” are the rigorous stipulations of dharma required by an inner-tantric mandala, please consult the original text of the answer.

Synopsis of Answer No. 10: An inner-tantric mandala will become an ordinary mandala after the great holy virtuous one who established the mandala has entered nirvana for three years and three months and will no longer possess any inner-tantric effect. However, a Buddha hall of true Buddha-dharma established in accord with the dharma has no time limitation.

Synopsis of Answer No. 11: The person demonstrating “Presenting the Three Vajra Phurbas” is a great rincpohe. We are not authorized to tell you his dharma name as you requested. He is a rinpoche with US citizenship. As to whether H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has ever accepted the person in Thailand whom you asked about as a disciple, please see the original text of the answer.

Synopsis of Answer No. 12: A master who is able to confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation must meet all of the three major requirements!!! A holy virtuous one at the level of Golden Button Grade 3 cannot confer an “Initiation of Dharma Affinity with the Yidam” but can confer a true inner-tantric initiation. However, an inner-tantric initiation must be conferred in an inner-tantric mandala that has completed the stipulations of the dharma of Presenting the Three Vajra Phurbas and Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva. Otherwise the disciple will not have any beneficial effect in dharma practice.

Synopsis of Answer No. 13: To attain accomplishment and liberation takes three great asankhyeya kalpas (3.84 billion years). One also has to broadly practice the six paramitas in all acts. An inner-tantric initiation is the only way to enable one to attain accomplishment in seven lifetimes, in three lifetimes, or in the current lifetime and may even cause one to learn the holiest dharma to become accomplished right then. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III said that as long as one truly cultivates oneself in concrete steps according to His teachings, one can attain accomplishment in the current lifetime regardless of what person one is. As of now, we have not heard of any inner-tantric mandala in the world anywhere. Wang Zha Shang Zun already announced last year that a true inner-tantric mandala will be established in the United States this year.

Synopsis of Answer No. 14: You asked about whether H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has an inner-tantric mandala. The answer is that He never has one. Since He is a Buddha, why does He need an inner-tantric mandala? Wherever His Holiness the Buddha is present and transmitting the dharma is an inner-tantric mandala possessing holy siddhi.

Synopsis of Answer No. 15: Only with the realization at a level of golden button(s) is a person a true venerable one. A Shang Zun at the level of Golden Button Grade 3 does not have the absolute certainty to be able to “Present a Petition to a Bodhisattva.” Only a Shang Zun who is above the level of Golden Button Grade 3 can definitely accomplish “Present a Petition to a Bodhisattva.” Regarding the fact that different people with completely different accomplishments of cultivation reached the same level of blue button(s) from the examination, please see the original text of answers in the book titled Brief Synopses and Original Texts of the Answers from Holy Virtuous Ones and Eminent Monastics for details.

Regarding the question about whether the Dharma of Empowerment by Kuan Yin’s Great Compassion practiced by a so-and-so person has the lineage of true Buddha-dharma or a lineage from the descendants of the Mara King, please inquire at WBAH. Otherwise, receiving wrong empowerment will bring one bad luck and suffering.

Synopsis of Answer No. 16: Why would some people oppose the stipulations of the dharma regarding an inner-tantric mandala? This is because those who oppose are definitely all false holy ones and true swindlers. They have no cultivated accomplishment to establish an inner-tantric mandala and perform false inner-tantric initiations. They hate extremely the stipulations of true Buddha-dharma. If they do not immediately launch opposition as soon as they hear that, they would expose before their disciples the fact that they always perform false inner-tantric initiations and would be unable to cover up their nature of being swindlers. For details please see the original text of the answer.

Synopsis of Answer No. 17: Great magicians can make use of various kinds of light and chemistry, can create an earth-quake, and so on. They can make an airplane or automobile vanish or appear. However, no great magician can ever transform a sheet of paper with writings by the disciple into a rainbow light. “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva” can only be accomplished by a master who is a Bodhisattva with the status of a tremendous holy virtuous one. “Sending a petition” is to put the document of petition before the crowd without using fire. Then, the Bodhisattva will come from  space to the site to take the petition, which will transform into a rainbow and fly away. On the other hand, “burning a petition” is to burn the petition by flame. Any person is able to do that.

Synopsis of Answer No. 18: One who has the cultivated accomplishment at the level of Golden Button Grade 1 or Golden Button Grade 2 is still at the risk of receding from the attained accomplishment. The original text of Answer No. 18 has real examples to explain this fact.

Synopsis of Answer No. 19: To confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation from the lineage, there must be at least three disciples receiving the initiation. The “Measuring Vajra Rope” used in the initiation will be cut into sections according to the number of people and be distributed among them. The Vajra pill will also be ground into powder to be divided among them. A true inner-tantric initiation received by a single person will have a “Measuring Vajra Rope” with the length between 16.5 feet and 33 feet. If the disciple receiving the initiation does not possess a “Measuring Vajra Rope,” the initiation is not a true inner-tantric initiation. The distance between where the master stands and where the disciple stands is measured using the length of this rope, which must not be less than 16.5 feet. If you want to find out whether the rope possessed by a certain person is real or forged, please inquire at WBAH.

Synopsis of Answer No. 20: Although a Vajra pill is hard and very small, the interior of the pill is a Vajra mandala. After the inner-tantric yidam enters this mandala, the pill will change its size and height, can perform an aerobic skating dance, and will manifest miraculous transformations.

Synopsis of Answer No. 21: H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has never accepted offerings. The key to whether one is able to learn Buddha-dharma or not is in whether one truly has a pious mind. One who makes a false vow will not be approved by the yidam Bodhisattva and cannot attain accomplishment even if the dharma is taught to such person. There is a person who robbed for 30 years the ownership and utilization of “FabiSheng,” which is H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III’s resource for the undertaking carried out by His Holiness the Buddha. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III never asked for anything in return from her. Such a big matter seems to have never occurred to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III both in action and in mind.

Separately, a holy virtuous one who can only confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation is not a non-receding Bodhisattva. Such a person’s power of accomplishment can possibly be reduced or receded.

Synopsis of Answer No. 22: The thin, white facial light between the eyebrows that represents one of the thirty-two major elegant marks of a Buddha cannot be seen by those who do not possess the karmic condition or speak falsely to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, who are insincere and have told lies to a Buddha, who are extremely selfish, who have violated serious precepts, who are not kind in mind, who are demonic persons or evil ghosts and monsters, and who do not sincerely learn from Buddha to cultivate themselves. In December last year, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III manifested His real facial appearance of a Buddha. The scene was seen by more than 70% of the people present with their own eyes. The observation by each of them was different. What some saw was the utmost and penetratingly transparent red complexion with embodied beauty resembling a red coral, while to some others, it was like a brilliant sun, emitting radiance that kept their eyes from opening. As to the thin white light between the eyebrows of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, they saw different types of miraculous transformations. There were also people who saw H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III manifesting two completely different appearances within a few minutes. There were also others who did not see anything. The definitions of the thirty-two major elegant marks of a Buddha are not fixed. This is because Buddhas respond to karmic conditions and manifest according to the species of living beings to save them. The views seen by people can be different.

Synopsis of Answer No. 23: “Buddha-bestowed nectar” can only be bestowed by Bodhisattvas with universal enlightenment or wonderful enlightenment and Buddhas. A great Bodhisattva can at most bestow nectar through trees or flowers. The difference between nectar through trees or flowers and “Buddha-bestowed nectar” is like that between the sky and the ground. Nectar has different types and different types of holy empowerment, such as:

  1. An initiation by the utmost precious nectar can enable one to attain the accomplishment to become a great holy person on the spot, realizing the state of nirvana with complete awareness.
  2. If one can abide by the precepts in one’s cultivation and practice without violating the precepts in the Nectar Protection Longevity Mantra, an initiation by the great precious nectar can expand one’s lifespan to 125 years and one will attain accomplishment and liberation in 12 years, realizing the state of nirvana with complete awareness.
  3. An initiation by the Bodhi nectar will enable one to attain accomplishment and liberation in 20 years, with a lifespan of 125 years. However, one must abide by the precepts in the Nectar Protection Longevity Mantra. If any violation is committed, one must sincerely repent and correct within 15 days. Otherwise the nectar and its effect will be lost without a trace.
  4. An initiation with the sprinkling of the Bodhi nectar has only 5% of the effect.
  5. Nectar pills have only 2% of the effect.

Synopsis of Answer No. 24: One who is able to “Establish a Mandala through a Separation by a Slab of Stone” or “Forecast the Future” is a true non-receding tremendous holy virtuous one and has already possessed the cultivated accomplishment of “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva.”

Synopsis of Answer No. 25: The “Fine Horse Walking Dharma” is an initial-stage holy dharma. One who practices this dharma is unable to establish an inner-tantric mandala. One must reach the level of Golden Button Grade 3 or above to be able to do that. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III expounded the dharma to tell us that only cultivation is fundamentally important. Those who want to learn this dharma can go elsewhere to beseech a great holy virtuous one.

Synopsis of Answer No. 26: Venerable Mo Zhi who is at the level of golden lotus button is still unable to establish an inner-tantric mandala and can only confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation. Those famous figures you mentioned are only at the levels of blue button(s) and possess no accomplishment of cultivation to establish an inner-tantric mandala at all. They cannot perform inner-tantric initiations either.

Synopsis of Answer No. 27: One who is a master or respected one teaching people must enter deeply into the teachings in the sutras and understand the truth in the teachings and the essence of the dharma from what is learned. Otherwise one will absolutely lead cultivators into evil paths and cause them to devolve into the lower realms. This is because such a person is a false master and an outsider of Buddhism.

Synopsis of Answer No. 28: Being addressed with respect as a venerable one does not entail being a venerable one. One has to be at a level of golden button(s) to be a venerable one. A venerable one wearing a lotus button is a true venerable one. One at the level of Golden Button Grade 3 is a Shang Zun. The title refers to a great Bodhisattva who is above venerable ones. Regardless of how high one’s status may be, any master with blue button(s) has not realized the power of accomplishment of an Arhat and is not a holy virtuous one. Such a master can at most confer a transmitted inner-tantric initiation from the lineage and cannot confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation. Holy virtuous ones at the levels of Golden Button Grade 1 or above but have not reached the level of Golden Button Grade 3 can only confer a borrowed inner-tantric initiation and cannot directly confer an inner-tantric initiation. There are also extremely few holy persons who do not want to disclose their names and do not come forward to take the examination for grade levels, but they are truly holy ones. Still, this type of people must have holy realization and absolutely possess great love and great compassion. Additionally, with a one-hundred-percent certainty, they possess a few of the five vidyas. Additionally, they do not fall into the 128 views. Otherwise they cannot be holy ones.

Synopsis of Answer No. 29: “Worldly dharmas and cultivations” refer to the dharmas and cultivations that have not undergone a decision by selection or that have undergone a decision by selection but the yidam did not arrive to give the approval. “Holy dharmas and cultivations” are those that have been approved by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas only bear responsibility for “holy dharmas and cultivations.” Any holy dharma or cultivation does not allow any change, even if the change is only in one sentence. Otherwise it will immediately become a worldly dharma or cultivation and may even become an evil dharma.

Synopsis of Answer No. 30: Why must inner-tantric initiations be performed in an inner-tantric mandala that meets the two major stipulations of the dharma? The reason is to protect and serve cultivators who learn from Buddha and to prevent evil masters and charlatans from defrauding them. Evil masters and charlatans definitely will not be able to present the three Vajra phurbas or accomplish “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva” no matter how cunning they may be. Therefore, they have no cultivated accomplishment to establish an inner-tantric mandala. Only a great holy virtuous one, a great Bodhisattva can establish an inner-tantric mandala. Moreover, only an inner-tantric initiation performed in an inner-tantric mandala can cause the disciple(s) receiving the initiation to have beneficial effects in the dharma practice.

Synopsis of Answer No. 31: “Presenting a Petition to a Bodhisattva” must be based on the content defined in the petition, to invoke at least a non-receding Bodhisattva to arrive at the site to accept the petition. The great holy master performing the dharma will cause the petition placed at a far-away distance before the disciples to transform into a rainbow and fly into the sky to disappear. That means the content for decision has been accepted and thus is correct. If the petition is not taken away by the great Bodhisattva, that means the Bodhisattva does not approve. That is, the petition is incorrect or evil.

Synopsis of Answer No. 32: An ordinary Buddha hall is not a Buddha hall of true Buddha-dharma! A Buddha hall of true Buddha-dharma is not an inner-tantric mandala! A Buddha hall of true Buddha-dharma can only be established by a master who has received an inner-tantric initiation on establishing a Buddha hall. A professional master in establishing Buddha halls cannot violate the precepts. Otherwise this master who has violated the precepts will lose the accomplished power of establishing Buddha halls. However, the Buddha hall(s) previously established by this master will not be affected. A master who can establish a Buddha hall of true Buddha-dharma must hold and possess a three-colored Vajra rope received at the time of receiving the inner-tantric initiation on establishing Buddha halls of true Buddha-dharma. An inner-tantric mandala can only be established by a tremendous holy virtuous one or great holy virtuous one. Since there exists no inner-tantric mandala now, there is no way to transmit the dharma of establishing Buddha halls.

Synopsis of Answer No. 33: The purpose of WBAH to implement the system of examination is to help all distinguish clearly between true and false and between good and evil to avoid being defrauded or deceived. False masters have the following behaviors:

  1. Hold up the signs of great holy ones and great Bodhisattvas to commit fraud.
  2. Demand their disciples to take oaths against curses to pledge their loyalty and do not allow them to follow other masters.
  3. Commit serious violations against Sakyamuni Buddha’s teachings and precepts, forge false Buddha-dharma, fabricate false textbooks, harm their followers, and are as vicious and cunning as malicious birds and beasts.
  4. Fake holiness with an ordinary being’s nature, have neither accomplishment nor virtue, belong to the category of outrageousness, and snatch offerings by deception.
  5. Were exposed as amateurs when taking this test on the Tripitaka; gave answers that were irrelevant to the test questions and were full of errors and mistakes; falsely boasted having holy realization and cultivated inner-power, but the result from testing exposed their exhausted physical strength and weak body; and are completely an outsider to the sutras, cultivation, and Buddha-dharma.
  6. Baselessly piece together and give discourses with the heretic view of nihilism to deceive and harm living beings with poisonously malicious effects.

Synopsis of Answer No. 34: H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the only Buddha recognized by dharma kings and rinpoches of all major sects of Buddhism in the world in the history of Buddhism. The teachings and the dharmas expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are not the teachings and the dharmas of a certain sect or school linked to a patriarch, are not the teachings and the dharmas of a certain vehicle such as the Vajrayana, Mahayana, or Hinayana either, treat all vehicles, sects, and schools of Buddhism equally, are in the same system as that of Sakyamuni Buddha, and belong to pure and true Buddha-dharma of Buddhism.

Synopsis of Answer No. 35: Cultivators all have to use the 128 views to check and verify masters who are at the levels below (not including) Golden Button Grade 3.

One’s merit can truly be different in terms of magnitude and level. The merit from presenting an offering to or supporting a rinpoche, dharma master, or temple absolutely cannot be mentioned at the same level as presenting an offering to Sakyamuni Buddha. The difference is like that between the sky and the ground. The toddler in Budapest had the extremely great karmic condition to present a handful of sand as an offering to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. The merit of his pure mentality and action was absolutely unlimited.

As an example to the selflessness, modesty, and holy purity of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, even the ownership and utilization of the product “Fabisheng” invented by Him were robbed by someone for her own gain for 30 years. This is just one instance demonstrating that His Holiness the Buddha does not pursue fame or gain and is completely selfless and free of greed. Other than this aspect, the level of the five vidyas, Buddha-bestowed nectar, and the 32 major elegant marks of a Buddha possessed by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are all mounting evidence that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is a Buddha! The incidents and true examples of the good karma and holy feats of His Holiness the Buddha are more than several books can contain. The process of compiling and organizing is ongoing.

If you truly intend to read and clearly understand the detailed contents, please read and study together with the original text of every answer in the book titled Brief Synopses and Original Texts of the Answers from Holy Virtuous Ones and Eminent Monastics.
