You said that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is in Tibetan esoteric Buddhism. That really is an erroneous understanding. You have so little knowledge about the concept of Buddha. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is a Buddha, not a founding patriarch of a certain sect or school with the lineage of a patriarch. What H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III propagates and advocates is the Buddhism and Buddha-dharma that are as complete as that of Sakyamuni Buddha and free of any sectarian views of patriarchs.
In 2017, very few evil individual(s) in society attempted to defame and slander H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and sued H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in court. The court, as the highest institute with jurisdiction over Buddhism in the world, reached its final decision in Judgement No. 3 of 2018, which concluded that the matters and causes which the suit were based on are all groundless fabrications. The document of judgement determined definitively, “The teachings and the truth expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III are in the same system as that of Sakyamuni Buddha and belong to pure and true Buddha-dharma.”
Exactly because what H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III upholds is pure and true Buddhism rather than the teachings and dharmas of a certain sect or school, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III was unanimously recognized and corroboratively recognized as a Buddha by dharma kings and rinpoches of all major sects of Buddhism in the world. His Holiness the Buddha is also the only Buddha being recognized as such in the history of Buddhism of more than 2,000 years. A Buddha is the highest leader and upholder of entire Buddhism and is not a great dharma king of a single sect. A great dharma king or rinpoche of any sect would be recognized within that sect and would not be recognized by the leaders of regent dharma kings of various sects and schools. The recognition of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is the same as the situation whereby Sakyamuni Buddha is revered and worshipped by all sects and schools of Buddhism. Sakyamuni Buddha does not belong to any particular sect or school and is the Buddha of entire Buddhism.
