The purpose of the World Buddhism Association Headquarters (WBAH) is to implement the system of examination helping Buddhists find fine masters and beneficial friends who truly possess virtue and accomplishment and thus avoid get onto deviated paths. During the current dharma-ending era, faked and false masters run around everywhere and in all directions and moreover always hold up the signs of great holy ones and great Bodhisattvas to commit fraud. For people who just begin to learn from Buddha and cultivate oneself, due to the lack of knowledge about Buddhism and especially being outside the gate of cultivation and practice of true Buddha-dharma, more than 90% of them will be defrauded or deceived. It is especially detestable that those evil and malicious masters even demand them to take oaths against curses to pledge their loyalty and do not allow them to follow other masters. These types of evil masters and charlatans are as vicious and cunning as malicious birds and beasts and have committed serious violations against Sakyamuni Buddha’s teachings and precepts. Therefore, to help the great masses avoid being defrauded or deceived, WBAH could only use the examination to test the levels of true and false masters, in order to provide a guarantee to you all.
Dharma King Gar Tongstan, chairman of the World Buddhism Association Headquarters, said, “As the chairman of WBAH, I implemented the examination. There is no slightest idea of doing that for myself. The new chairman Venerable Mo Zhi has no selfish mentality either. Both of us do not accept disciples. We just serve you all wholeheartedly. We do not advocate that people all learn from us. You can follow and rely on any eminent monastic or great virtuous one.”
We found that it is often the case that those who have the nature of ordinary beings but fake being holy ones or even great Bodhisattvas are basically all at the levels of blue buttons or have no blue button at all. Not even one of them passed the examination at a level of golden button(s). Not only are they not Bodhisattvas, they do not even have any relevance to an Arhat. They do not have the slightest cultivated accomplishment or quality of a holy virtuous one and even have no knowledge of learning or character that belongs to an eminent monastic or a great virtuous one. That is why these people who fake holiness with an ordinary being’s nature have neither accomplishment nor virtue and belong to the category of incest and deception. They are simply evil spirits who openly do cruel harms to living beings. Each of this type of person is equal to an ordinary person plus a swindler.
The real evidence from the written test given by WBAH on the sutras, vinayas, and shastras (commentaries) already proved a fact, which shows that those so-called great Bodhisattvas and great rinpoche masters with fame and name often heard all over the world became amateurs when taking this test on the Tripitaka. The answer sheets of many of them were irrelevant to the test questions and were full of errors and mistakes. They even falsely boasted having holy realization and cultivated inner-power and being as healthy as a great-strength Vajra. Then, the result from the examination exposed their exhausted physical strength and weak body. Within the age group of 20-50, they were unable to lift the “Earth Phurba” weighing 200 pounds to the initial stage. As a matter of fact, a person who truly possesses accomplished inner-power at an age of between 50 to 70 years should be able to present the “Earth Phurba” weighing 200 pounds to the initial stage. An evil and deceptive master even said without any shame, “I do not care about presenting an offering weighing 200 pounds.” The chief proctor said, “Since you said such arrogant words, you can just present the ‘Dharma Phurba,’ to show your cultivated accomplishment of a holy body!” Then, this person was completely exposed for having no holy realization or beneficial attainment at all. Such a person is an amateur to Buddhism, is an ordinary person plus a swindler, has a weak and sick body, is an idiot to the sutras, cultivation, and Buddha-dharma, and is totally an evil spirit.
Such amateurs of Buddhism and charlatans even baselessly give discourses and write textbooks, causing great harm to very many people. They deceived Buddhists to pay respect and present all they have as offerings and consequently cause them to follow evil practices and devolve into the three lower realms. This harmful situation is still continuously expanding in society and harming living beings. You all must be particularly careful and take caution!!! The examination held by WBAH is to serve and help you all so that you can see clearly to distinguish true or false and kindness or evil.
