from the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III:
H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is constantly teaching us so that we can all become a good person, a good Buddhist, a good cultivator, a selfless kind person, a super-mundane virtuous person, and a person who benefits other, and to let living beings learn true Buddha-dharma, understand, master and carry out the Buddha’s correct knowledge and views, and, as a result, get onto the thoroughfare leading to enlightenment that can end the cycle of birth and death and benefit self and others. At anytime and anywhere, all that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is concerned with, talks about and acts upon are cutting off selfishness and self attachment, eliminating living beings’ bitterness and suffering, bringing happiness to them, and increasing their fortune and wisdom. Why did H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III make a vow of only teaching Buddha-dharma but not accepting offerings? This is because H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III is compassionate about the hardship of living beings’ life and is considerate of the difficult situation that people are always in for carrying the burden of supporting their families. Therefore, his holiness rather takes up all the hardship upon himself than bring any burden or pressure to living beings. Everything that H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III does reflect his holiness’ pledge made in The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation.
In the dharma ritual of “Most Magnificent Bodhi Dakini Oceanic Mind Essence” in The Supreme and Unsurpassable Mahamudra of Liberation, the following paragraph expresses the vow and the determination to carry it out from the mind of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III:
“All Buddhas in the ten directions practice their wonderful methods.
As Dorje Chang III with a heart of humility,
I now expound the shortcut to attain enlightenment.
It is certain to liberate you from the fast knot of samsara.
[You must liberate yourself from the fast knot of samsara.]
You should listen attentively and cultivate your three karmas.
You can then enter the highest vehicle of ultimate reality.
I vigorously carry out my vow[s] in both words and deeds. [?]
These two lines reflect the State Practice and the Enlightenment Practice:
I bear all of the negative karma and offenses of living beings.
I give to you all of the good karma and merit that I have planted.
H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III wants to give all good things to living beings and to bear every bad consequence of living beings as his own responsibility. On the other hand, in clear contrast to the Buddha’s bright holy pure deeds of selflessly benefiting others, there are a few rinpoches who never abide by the Buddha’s instruction and never study the doctrines taught by the Buddha. They not only never benefit living beings, but also put up bright and attractive facades to exploit money and wealth from living beings and destroy their good roots. In order to cover up and hide their selfish desire and evil habits, they use the ways of falsifying the recorded dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III or keep living beings from listening to the dharma lessons. Some indirectly encourage their disciples not to listen to the dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Why would they do so? What is their purpose? The answer is that they do not want to expose their ugly and shameful nature, for the purpose of swindling offerings and satisfying their selfish desire.
We all know that, in the current era, in order to acquire true Buddha-dharma and really attain accomplishment, the one and only source for obtaining correct knowledge and views is respectfully listening to the dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has already formally declared long ago that no one, regardless of what status he may possess, can represent H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III to expound the dharma and transmit Buddha-dharma. Therefore, regarding those who withhold and falsify the dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III or who encourage or permit their disciples not to listen to the dharma lessons, isn’t it quite clear what kind of people they are and what purpose they have? These people are leading living beings into degeneration and annihilation and bringing living beings to the path toward the hell realm without the possibility of getting out in countless eons.
Therefore, the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III has no other choice but to make the following public announcement:
1. Any Buddhist who does not listen to the recorded dharma lessons expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, regardless of whether he possesses the status of a venerable one, dharma king, great master, or great dharma master, will not receive initiation of highest inner tantric Buddha-dharma. This is because even though they possess very high status, they do not understand the essence and truth from the correct dharma. Their views are evil and fall into superstition. We can never let evil persons possess the correct dharma and great dharma of Tathagata, in order to prevent evil ones from using the dharma to deceive and harm living beings for their selfish desire. Therefore, no matter who he is, it is impossible for anyone who does not listen to the dharma lessons to receive the teaching of Buddha-dharma from highest inner tantric initiation.
2. At present, most rinpoches including those who possess the titles of venerable one, dharma king, Khenpo, Geshe, dharma masters are very good (reincarnated dharma kings, venerable ones, Khenpos, and Geshes are generally called rinpoches). However, among rinpoches, besides the evil Danzhen Nuori, two other ones with evil views have emerged. They take the flag of correct dharma as a cover and use their lineage and status to irresponsibly and erroneously discourse on the dharma. For the purpose of cheating offerings from living beings, they withhold some dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in order to keep their disciples and believers from listening to them. They even edit the dharma lessons and delete the contents that are unfavorable to them. This is because discourses in some dharma lessons clearly pointed out the incorrect or evil deeds of such rinpoches. Therefore, these rinpoches are quite concerned and bothered. They are afraid that their disciples would leave them for good once they listen to the dharma lessons. The only way they have is to keep their disciples from listening to this type of dharma lesson, to avoid exposing their nature. Therefore, these people use various means to lull their disciples so they would unconsciously dodge listening to dharma lessons. Unfortunately, the disciples would not even realize that they have already got lost on the path. Due to just one such misstep, cultivators can be deceived and caused to devolve into a maze without the possibility of attaining accomplishment in their current lifetime. More seriously, they will eventually degenerate with the evil master into the lower three realms to endure the suffering beyond description. This is because, without listening to the dharma lessons, you will not clearly understand the correct theory and true essence of Buddha-dharma and, consequently, you will not know who the evil master is. Very likely, he may be just your so-called great virtuous master. The dharma lessons frequently mentioned the impure deeds of the masters who possess evil views. You must listen to the dharma lessons to know whether the teaching you are receiving (from your master) is correct and whether this rinpoche or dharma master in front of you is qualified to be your vajra master. Only by listening to the dharma lessons can you be able to distinguish correct views from evil views at any time and be able to know whether your master led you onto incorrect knowledge and views.
3. For now, we refrain from explicitly naming these two rinpoches and hope that they can correct their evil deeds and return to the correct path. However, we can clearly inform good cultivators of this fact. These people who have these evil views do possess authentic recognition and linage. They have very high status, great reputation, and good titles. However, they have not realized the great holy realization power of having the crown opened by Vajra Body Substitution Meditation.
4. If these two rinpoches or other people who have similar evil views and incorrect deeds still do not repent their guilt and rectify their sinful faults, or even continue to hide or edit the recorded dharma lessons of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and keep their disciples from listening to all publicly available dharma lessons, the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III will publish their names and publicly criticize, one by one, these evil and vicious masters’ evil speeches and discourses and commentaries that misinterpret the sutras, oppose the Buddha, and violate the precepts. Of course, if they can become aware of and correct their faults, follow the good and leave the evil, propagate the correct dharma, and benefit living beings, they should be highly praised.
