On May 11, 2012, the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III (the Office) published the 27-th Public Announcement and the successive 11-th Statement (Explanation). That drew criticism from some people in society. As the office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, we are least concerned about this kind of matters of rights and wrongs. However, because the continuation of this kind of matters of rights and wrongs can hurt living beings’ good roots and may even cause their losing the karmic affinity of receiving the holy Buddha-dharma, the Office has no choice but make a serious statement once again.
The responses received from some people during the last two days were that the 27-th Public Announcement and the 11-th Statement from the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III were the Office’s way of promoting this issue. For this matter, the Office must seriously and clearly inform all people:
The name of this Office is the Office of H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. It is magnificently holy and absolutely clean without any impurity, and never permits any contamination. The Office will never engage in this kind of low-class acts of self-promoting. Only because the amount of raised fund mentioned in the 27-th Public Announcement was wrong, the 11-th Statement was then issued to correct the fact and explain the details. That was a sincere act to express the truth, without any artificial and deliberate motivation for self-promotion. Since we made the mistake, we should just apologize and explain publicly. That was the true mentality and act of people at this office.
Now, as the responsible person who actual worked on the 27-th Public Announcement and the 11-th Statement, I hereby swear seriously to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten direction, all holy dharma protectors, all gods and deities in the heavens and in the world, as well as all Buddhist disciples:
The stated amount of fund raised in the 27-th Public Announcement was not deliberately written wrong for self-promotion. After distributing the announcement, we discovered the error. H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III seriously criticized us and gave the instruction that we must correct immediately and repent sincerely. Therefore, the person in charge of the Office decided to issue the 11-th Statement to repent the fault, explain the fact and make the correction to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions and all living beings. Also, the correct number of US$2750 raised by the Office in the two fund-raising activities during the past four years was published. These are the facts from the beginning to the end. There was not any intention or act of self-promotion.
If what I stated above was false, I myself as well as my whole family will suffer the consequences of being poor and in misery, dying early, and not attaining accomplishment in all future lifetimes!
If what I stated above was true, may I myself as well as my whole family all reap great fortune and benefits, live long lifespans of over one hundred years, enjoy good luck, peace, and good health, and attain great liberations. May all living beings have the opportunity of listening to the true Buddha-dharma expounded by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III and attain accomplishments and liberations according to their own merit and cultivation!
The responsible person who actual worked on the 27-th Public Announcement, the 11-th Statement, and the 12-th Statement has hereby given the above serious swear!
