Respected Buddhists of good faith,
During the days around the birthday of His Holiness the Buddha in June, I, Zhengxiang Shi, and some other Buddhist disciples received requests for paying respect to H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III in person from numerous Buddhists coming from various places in the world. I, Zhengxiang Shi, and others did not fulfill our responsibility of caring about them after receiving the requests. Rather, we made decisions on our own that did not allow them to pay respect to His Holiness the Buddha in person. That caused some Buddhists to be sad and feel bad. Such conduct of ours has already violated the teaching of upholding the principle of great compassion to benefit living beings by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Due to the travel schedule of these Buddhists, they did not get the opportunity to see His Holiness the Buddha in person and had to leave with disappointment and sadness. Such conduct of ours caused serious harms to living beings, In particular, what I did was the most typical. I can only deeply realize and painstakingly repent. Now, I, Zhengxiang Shi, and others sincerely and wholeheartedly make the most pious apology to the persons harmed by us. I, Zhengxiang Shi, and others will definitely and firmly correct ourselves and take benefiting living beings as our entire undertaking. We will uphold the principle of serving the great masses. We respectfully ask you all to forgive us.
